About Us
Talon Training Group, LLC is a company formed by current Law Enforcement Trainers who believe in empowering citizens to defend themselves. Our strong belief in your right to defend yourself within the constitution and laws of the State of Florida has led us to develop curriculum designed specifically for the average citizen. If you feel strongly about purchasing a firearm, pepper spray, civilian Taser, or other self defense item, you need training. We don't allow our law enforcement professionals to work in our community without training with the weapons they carry. Hold yourself to this same standard and come spend some time with us.
Our classes are designed to mentally and physically prepare you for a force on force encounter with the predators in our society. While the martial arts prepare you for a fight, you may never be prepared for that fight against those worst members of our society. The local dojo is a great place to get into shape and build confidence. However, for those who cannot dedicate a day a week for the rest of our lives, the law allows us to possess equalizers. These weapons can be useless without a proper understanding of their purpose, application and the expected results. Proper weaponry and a combat mindset can negate even the biggest size advantage a criminal may have over you.
Our instructors are passionate about showing you what we have learned in our careers in law enforcement and from training others. Just our two owners have over 40+ years of Law Enforcement experience and we utilized only the best and most experienced instructors in the area. We keep an instructor to student ratio as high as possible to ensure you get the attention you need. We don't offer classes to provide you just a piece of paper, we offer REAL training. Please revist our site often as we post classes regularly. We host at least one local Concealed Carry Class each month and at least one Advanced Level Class. If you are interested in hosting a class at your place of business, we can arrange that also.

We use highly qualified and certified members of the law enforcement training community to help with our classes. Great personalities and helpful attitudes are key to our instructor success. We use current trainers that we have worked with and like. We know learning is more about listening and being open to the information presented, and so we don't use instructors that don't provide a positive learning environment.
