All our advanced classes require you to have some form of actual hands on training as a prerequisite  we will ask for assurances from you that you have attended a competent training class at some level or have a shooting background before attending.  This is for your safety and the safety of your fellow students.  Our basic class is more than sufficient and any NRA class taught by a competent instructor will suffice.  Gun show training alone is not training by our standards and will not qualify.  Please contact us if you have questions, we want to please you, so we are willing to work with you.

Advanced Scenario Based Training:  (4 hours $100)
 
In this 4 hour class, you will get an opportunity to fire your or a number of our firearms to refresh skills with a live firearm.  This is included to give you some range time with a professional instructor to address any concerns you might have with your firearm or to at least allow you to refresh your skills.

The bulk of this class it spent doing scenario based drills where you will be given a simulated firearm to place in a vehicle or on your person either in a concealed or home situation.  You will have to deal with a role playing instructor who will simulate a threat.  The students will need to make decisions based on the scenario and will need to justify their actions to the instructors. 
We will provide you with simulated firearms that fire plastic bullets with compressed air.  This training is very cutting edge in the civilian market, but, becoming commonplace in the law enforcement and military community.

A lot of skills are stressed in this class, including communication, posturing, conflict avoidance, legal justification of the use of deadly force, concealed carry methods, defense tactics and much more.

Force on Force - Concealment/Cover:  (4 hours $100)

This class focuses on the use of cover and concealment.  Students begin with instruction on the use of cover when shooting.  Reloading drills and other skills are taught along with moving and shooting between and behind cover.  Learning to search around corners and over/under objects is key when looking for a bad guy. Cover is any structure that affords the shooter protection from incoming fire.  After shooting drills are done live, the students will be equiped with airsoft weapons that fire plastic bullets that will sting, but, not bruise.  They will be pitted against an instructor and the two will shoot it out while wearing protective gear.  These drills are designed to teach with immediate feedback the value of the use of cover in a shooting situation.

We have had a lot of great feedback from this class.

Reactionary Steel:  (4 hours $140)

This class is taught on air operated steel targets.  These targets are computer activated head plates that are programed to pop up in 1/4 second increments.  This instruction is designed to teach the student to bring the pistol to eye level, find the front sight and get an accurate hit in a very short period of time.  This is state of the art training and is very effective.  These are very advanced skills and in this short period of time it is impressive the advances you can make in your speed.

This class requires non-toxic frangible ammunition and cost a bit more due to the type of range and the ammunition requirements.  Requirements are a holster for your weapon and a spare magazine holder. Contact us if you need these items and we can sell them to you.  If you need our guns, we will  provide them.

Home Defense:  (4 hours $100)

This class involves a discussion of home defense skills.  This covers using cover and concealment in the home, ballistic issues and bullets inside the home, searching/clearing the home with a flashlight and weapon and the use of a shotgun for home defense.  Live fire with a shotgun and handgun will be included in drills centered on home defense skills.

Airsoft scenarios will be conducted in a building simulating a home.  This class has been a favorite and in demand among our alumni.

Tactical Carbine I: (8 hours $160, bring 300 rounds or buy from us)

The civilian tactical carbine class involves basic operation of the tactical carbine, primarily the AR platform, but, will work with Mini-14's, and others.  We will cover reloading, moving and shooting, positional shooting, sight in, sling techniques, use of cover and if time allows, some two man drills.


Tactical Carbine II: (8 hours $160, bring 200 rounds or buy from us)

This class involves a step up from TC-1, it will involve force on force with Airsoft, utilizing methods taught related to the proper use of cover and concealment, movement and other tactics.  We will provide several .22 caliber AR-15's to allow a higher number of rounds fired so we can teach longer with less ammo provided.  More dynamic and advanced drills will be run than in TC-1.
