Basic Concealed Carry Class
Our Firearms Safety/Concealed Carry Class is designed to far exceed the requirements of the State of Florida for your Concealed Carry Permit. This is, by far, the most comprehensive and complete firearms training in the area. We also answer any questions you might have about acquiring a Concealed Carry Permit. The cost of the state permit and any associated fees are not included in our price. See the link to the left of this section for more. This class is given in two parts, a morning classroom session of about 4 hours and about 4 hours on the range. The cost is $160. Included in this price are range fees, lunch and ammunition.
We cover use of force issues, including lethal force and the mindset involved in using deadly force. We cover selection of the right firearm for your purposes and issues involving firearms safety, traveling with firearms, concealed carry issues and proper holster selection. We offer many firearms for you to shoot in several different models and calibers and highly recommend that if you don't own a firearm, wait and shoot the ones we offer. You will most likely leave knowing what you want.
We will provide you with simulated firearms that fire plastic bullets and place you in scenarios where you will need to exercise a force option against an instructor/role player. This is very similar to the same training law enforcement officers get and better than many go through. Don't worry, you'll always win. We then ask questions and have you justify your actions. This helps you understand your real options in a real scenario and prepares you for the real thing. Students seem to like this more than any of the rest of the class and comment very positively about the role playing.
You will get basic instruction in the safe handling of the firearm, proper loading, malfunction drills, drawing techniques and a host of other lessons. If you don't have a firearm, we will provide you with one. We provide the ammunition for the class.

We offer Advanced Classes Monthly. These advanced classes are based on student requests and include more scenario based training, tactical use of lights and cover, home defense, steel reactionary targets, carbine/AR-15 classes and a host of others. Others will likely want to attend also.
