How to Get Your Florida Permit
The way we recommend you get your permit here in the Tallahassee area is simple. Call the Tallahassee Regional Office of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Licensing and scedule and appointment. The people there are very helpful and you can generally expect your license within a week, give or take a few days. Take your drivers license, your checkbook and the training certificate proving you have had training to them and they will fingerprint, photograph and notarize your application after you complete it there. Don't worry about any packets or any other work to do. Just make an appointment and show up with those items. They do the rest.
